BT has opened a new concept store in the UK, showing retailers how to transform their stores to meet the needs of consumers.
The store uses technology to sell fashion, homeware and grocery goods as it looks to create a seamless brand experience and blur the lines between shopping online and in store.
Visitors experience a window display which demonstrates to retailers how to create impact and stand out. There is also a ‘memory mirror’ with a 360degree view for trying on new outfits, and intelligent merchandise labels. The shop’s café even has its own mobile app!
Whether shopping in store or online, customers want a seamless experience which is easy, personalised and above all, enjoyable.
The plan is to allow retailers to mobilise their sales teams, check their stock in real time and attain business insights from the shop.
